Intensive Course Abroad: Amsterdam University's Vlog
Dutch student partners document their visit to Philadelphia to mark the start of our intensive global engagement:
In September 2022, within our Public Administration program, we made a long-dreamed study trip to Philadelphia, USA, with 29 students and 4 tutors from project year 4. For a week, our collaboration partner Drexel University guided us around the city of Philadelphia, along places and speakers who taught us about the theme of social (in)justice, and how our cities and countries differ in their political system, their practices, methods and problems.
We are pleased to present this anthology of travel experiences of our students. In addition to this collection, a video report was also made by two of our students, Mattia and Noah, who took the lead in an inspiring report of this adventure. Also a photo book and photo presentation have been made.
With this travel anthology, video and photo report, we hope to provide insight into the enormous added value of this journey for both the professional and personal development of our students. We thank our faculty, department and the FMR International office for making this trip financially possible, and we want to express our deepest appreciation to our Drexel partner, Cyndi Rickards and her network, for making this unforgettable learning experience possible.
